Listening to Problems, Your Empathy

When someone tells you about their bad day,  do you be a good listener?
And when you listen to their depression, negativity, you just listen. When their gone, the words, speech what they have spoken, suddenly gets stuck in your head. It's maybe because you can't do anything to help them. Then you would also feel depressed, sad, empathy.

You would be so emotional, sucking up peoples problems, like a sponge sucking up all the water.
But how much can a sponge soak up? How much can you soak up?..

We are human beings, homo sapiens, not robots, vampires, well even vampires have feeling. *laughs*
ok ok.. so we can't just feel so emotional all the time when people fess up. It's just sad.
We have limits. We get emotional. Then it affect our daily lives. Ruin our day. How could we deal with this problem?

you could..
1. take a deep breath.
Inhale then exhale, relax, this can help release the stress. Helps a lot when you feel so emotional and angry.

2. Set boundaries
NO it's not okay to listen to your friend everyday, crying because of the worst job or workplace ever.
yes i know it's your friend but you need to take care of yourself too. your mental health.

3.think logically
when you listen to people's problems, think logically, listen to it logically instead of emotionally.

4.Keep your spirits up!
Be grateful for what you have! Don't be so gloomy.. =)
