Story of an Interesting Stranger #1

There he was at the counter of the bar. I was there alone, looking at him.

Observing. He wasn't handsome, wasn't that cute, was not even very tall. Just a few inches from me i think.

I was feeling depressed, with a vodka shot on the table. maybe i should order another.
Surprisingly the bartender placed another on the table.

"It's from that handsome young fella at the end there." He gestured with his head.

The "fella" smiled but he wasn't looking at me. Weird.

I drank the shot without thinking if there was any drugs placed in it, then went home by a cab.
On the way home, i thought about what happen that afternoon.

"We are over." He said.

"Fine. After all that we've been through. You had to put a stranger in our lives"

"She's not a stranger, she was a friend from college, we're just..."

"Could you explain to me why were you kissing her, Ronald?"

Silence.

So i just left the apartment that i stayed from nearly 4 years. It was raining heavily, therefore no one could see me in tears.

I lost my job as the Glam magazine editor and lost my fiancee.

hey everyone!

I'm so busy! well..not really. I'm having my exams now actually. But it feels like i'm on a holiday. The gap of the exams dates are so far away from each other.
I have my biology exam which is tomorrow. and then physics, maths, chemistry.

Am i ready yet? hmm..I feel i can pass the exam but i might only get a B-

A lot of my friends are very stressed out. Maybe they just overworked. I don't know but i just can't do the "overwork thing".. maybe that's why i don't succeed much.

I had one lecturer that said "It takes blood, and sweat." Sweat is just not enough, you need blood, you need to suffer first.
My dad also said "people work very hard to succeed, they work so hard until they even get sick."

But there are also people that don't even try to succeed. Maybe it's just faith.

Well, I had a roommate in Matriculation College, who just sits in front of the laptop and reads Chinese novels if she has free times, and eats instant noodles aka Maggi mee. Morning and Night.

She is an account student. Yes, she does go to class but usually sleeps in class. People says she's weird but I like her the way she is. She is just different from others.

She does her daily routines. I rarely see when she studies, she only does her assignments and finishes it at the last minute. That's what she also did the night before the exam. Studied all chapters in one night. Amazing.

Well ok, let's get to the good part. Her Gpa was 4.0. Yes.. 4.0.
But that was the 1st semester. I just wish her all the best for her 2nd semester. =)




I just don't know how she did it. Hahaha. so freaking cool..
